Step away from the busyness of life and make time for yourself to pause and catch your breath. A weekend retreat of restorative yoga, meditation, creativity, sound and breath work to help you learn tools to slow down and de-stress.
All activities are optional but are carefully planned to offer you ways to experience deep rest, relaxation and rejuvenation. Set in the inspiring location of Florence House right on the edge of the Sussex coast. There will be time to enjoy your natural surroundings and we promise you will be truly looked after and nourished. Book today, share with a friend or come for some solitary time.
WHAT TO EXPECT:
•Daily Gentle and Restorative Yoga: Allowing your body to surrender into deep relaxation, release tension and experience profound healing.
•Meditation and Mindfulness: Discover the transformative power of mindfulness and meditation to cultivate inner calm and clarity.
•Optional Evening Nidra plus Chanting, Breathwork, Meditation in the yurt.
•Optional guided creative activity: Make an eye pillow or group coaching on Values and Mindset.
•Circle time – Opportunity to come together with like-minded people to share your experiences, in a supportive and nurturing community.
•Free time – There will be plenty of time to enjoy the beautiful surroundings of Florence House – Nature walks, sea swimming, quiet time to journal and reflect.
•Super comfortable accommodation: Choice of single or shared rooms with ensuite or shared bathrooms.
•Delicious homemade vegetarian food: all meals, hot drinks, juices and snacks are provided. (please advise of any allergies when booking)
•Massage Treatment – Optional and for an additional fee. We have arranged for an on site therapist for massage. To be booked in advance.

THE VENUE:
Florence House is a very well established and respected retreat venue and the owners are committed to creating an environment that supports health and wellbeing.
A traditional country manor located at the top of Seaford Head in Sussex and on the edge of the South Downs National Park. It is just 5 minutes from the beach if you’d like to swim in the sea or stroll along the coast. The house is set in six acres of outstanding natural beauty. The lush gardens include
plenty of space to explore and relax including a secluded walled garden. Inside is warm, relaxed and friendly – yoga workshops take place in a huge light-filled room with french doors opening onto the stunning views. A wood-stove warmed yurt in the garden is where we can meet in the evenings to come together. There is also a comfortable reading room for chatting, relaxing and reading.

YOGA AND MINDFULNESS
Yoga will be guided in a supportive, fun and engaging way under the caring guidance of your experienced heart centred teachers. We are both experienced in modifying poses and offering adjustments, totally inclusive, we are comitted to meeting your needs. Nurturing and intuitive. Emphasing the importance of listening to your body and cultivating a sense of presence and relaxation during each session. Encouraging all participants to carry the lessons learned on the mat into your life, fostering mindfulness and well-being. This is integration, unity, yoga.
Restorative yoga takes place low to the ground using props such us bolsters and blankets to support the body so that you can fully let go. Proven to help reduce stress, help improve sleep and aid healing and enhance your overall well being.Practice slowing down in order to switch out of autopilot move your body in daily yoga sessions to help you feel well and energised.
TEACHERS:
Clair Edwards has a decade of teaching experience including pregnancy, postnatal, slow flow and restorative yoga styles. Her aim is to provide a safe and nurturing space with a friendly and informal feel so all feel welcome and included. Her classes are creatively sequenced with clear no nonsense instruction with a focus on moving mindfully to encourage students to intuitively find what works for them. All with the purpose of reducing stress and improving mental and physical well being.
Donna Raftery creates restorative and nurturing events in person and online. She shares her love of wisdom and holistic well-being with Vajrasati Yoga and Reiki Healing. Founder of the Deep Rest Series at the popular Yoga Garden at Knepp. Donna has many years of experience integrating mind, body and spirit wellness through 1:1 yoga programs and holistic coaching. With a deep love of creativity and philosophy she has studied and worked in design, songwriting and the wellness industry for over three decades.
They share the belief that integrating rest is fundamental to good health and overall well being. A holistic approach rooted in ancient wisdom,perfect antidote for modern life. Combining decades of personal experience and deep love of sharing yoga as a lifestyle choice and practice, they look forward to welcoming you to a totally nourishing weekend.

•60 days or more prior to the retreat date: Your payments will be refunded, less £150 which is your non-refundable deposit.
•59-30 days prior to the retreat date: payments are not refundable, but are transferable (less the £150 non-refundable deposit) to a future Donna Rama or Clair Edwards retreat or events
•29 days or less prior to the retreat date: payments are not refundable.
