Our sense perception is how we receive the information of our surroundings and environment. How we perceive the world. Finding peace through the senses allows us to rest fully. I hope you can join me for what will be a deeply restful Retreat Day.
This special yoga day will bring focus and connection to the senses – to discover a deep peace and stillness from within. Relinquishing the pull of the senses that draw us away from our centre. Bringing focused awareness to each sense excluding all else allows for a deep connection with presence and increased consciousness to that one sense.
Our yoga practices will be encouraging our natural ability to expand our awareness and connection to each sense. Creating a heightened experience of ourselves. We will rest in each sense. In the wholeness of it.
Treat yourself and bathe in the bliss – discover practical ways to reconnect consciously whenever you feel pulled by the senses, by the world.
-Feel into the body through gentle movement
-Make conscious connection to the breath
-Tune into the depth and experience of letting go
-Settle movements in the mind to find stillness beyond the pull of the world
-Reset to a calmer state
-Re-callibrate your connection with the senses and recall the sensation of contentment
-Reconnect with the bliss which is your natural state
Ideal for anyone feeling overwhelmed, physically exhausted or anxious. Identifying with thoughts and unable to relax.
Each of the yogic practices will be encouraging our natural ability to expand our awareness and connection to each sense. A heightened experience of ourselves. We will rest in each sense. In the wholeness of it.
Practices include yoga asana (postures), pranayama (breathwork), meditation and nidra (yogic sleep) with Reiki healing. Nutritious lunch and snacks. Walk around the Knepp Estate to take in the beauty and fill the senses. All welcome.
